Jae Y. Kim, Esq.

Jae Y. Kim is a first-generation Korean-American Attorney at Law.
Mr. Kim is a former bankruptcy partner with Stern, Lavinthal, Frankenberg,
& Norgaard, LLC, and has worked with a large national law firm based
in Newark, New Jersey. He is now in private practice with offices
in Bergen County, New Jersey and New York City. His practice has
an emphasis on bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, commercial
transactions and real estate. He received his B.A. in Economics
from Boston University in 1992 and his J.D. from Quinnipiac College
School of Law, Hamden, Connecticut, in 1995. Mr. Kim is a member
of the New York Bar, the New Jersey Bar and is admitted to practice
before the United State Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
He has lectured for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal
Education and has been a panel member at the Honorable William H.
Gindin Bankruptcy Bench/Bar Conference. He has had two (2) of his
more notable cases published in opinions, In re: Ehret, 238 B.R.
85 (Bkrptcy., D.N.J. 1999) and Lever et al. vs. Thomas, et al.,
340 N.J. Super. 198 (App.Div. 2001).
